Archery & Riflery

Girls can do anything that boys can – sometimes better! At Skyline our campers love the traditional boy’s camp activities. Our target sports, archery and riflery, are two of campers favorite activities.

Even our youngest campers learn how to shoot a bulls-eye with our compound bows. We also play fun games like tic-tac-toe, shoot at balloons, and compete in tournaments for club points.

At the Riflery range our certified instructors help campers develop marksmanship skills while maintaining a controlled environment.

We shoot .22 rifles and air rifles in the prone position. At the end of each session is Shoot-at-Random-Stuff Day where you can shoot holes through your favorite pair of jeans or whatever else you can think of.

On the last day of activities, the entire camp looks forward to the Archery & Riflery tournaments with a neighboring boys camp. The best 5 shooters in both target sports compete against 5 of their best archers and marksmen. The boys put up a good fight but in the end Skyline is most always victorious!
