Recently our administrative team here at Skyline attended the ACA National Conference in Orlando. FL. We learned so much from experts in youth development and other camp professionals from all over the world! In addition, we of course had some fun at Disney World! I can hardly believe that it is already half way through February! Summer is quickly approaching us and all of us here on the mountain are super excited for Summer 2009! Preparations are already under way as we have begun the counselor recruitment and hiring process. Skyline is once again going to have the finest staff a camp can offer!
Recently my travels have lead me all over the Southeast. I have traveled to Macon, Atlanta, Athens, Birmingham, Knoxville, Lexington, and Houma. In all of these places I have seen loads of Skyline cuties! Campers, Counselors and Alumnae have all came to Skyline parties and recruitment events to support their summer home!
Next week we will be heading to Orlando, FL for the annual ACA Conference. It is sure to be very educational and fun week! I will be sure to tell Mickey and Minnie hi for you all.
