Our six Hut Row cabins house Skyline’s youngest campers. Each individual cabin houses 14-16 campers and 3-4 counselors.
This cabin was on the brow of the mountain and was used before the purchase of Riverside and Summerplace.
The Cabins Today
Hut Row is still where the youngest campers are housed. Today there are six cabins in Hut Row: Bevshack, Brookwood, Driftwood, Joywood, Bar-H, Beetlebum. The oldest campers who live on the Hut Row side of the river now live in Sylward Lodge. The Lodge houses five cabins: Edmae, Dewey's Den, Rosey Den, Hillbillies, and Totem Hall.

The History of Hut Row
Although the facilities have been updated, our Hut Row cabins still circle the campfire and give a warm, comfortable feeling for our youngest campers. Eloise started hut row several cabins at a time. Beehive and Trah (Trah is Hart spelled backwards!) housed the youngest campers. Bevshack, Brookwood, Joywood, Bar-H and Beetlebum were all named after Eloise's family members. Rosey Den and Hillbillies were named after things native to the mountain.
The last cabin in Hut Row that campers progressed to was Driftwood because Eloise called them her "Drifters." Totem Hall sat behind Hut Row close to the river; these young ladies were the oldest girls on the Hut Row side of the river.
In the early days of Skyline the oldest girls at camp were bused into camp from a cabin called Ups and Downs.
