Marjorie Yessick to compete in the Miss Alabama Pageant!

Marjorie Yessick is a former Skyline camper and was also a counselor for 2 years. In October Marjorie was crowned Miss Troy University! She is a freshman at Troy and is majoring in Nursing.

June 3-6 Marjorie will be in Birmingham competing in the Miss Alabama Pageant. She will be promoting her platform which is "Heart Gallery Alabama."

Good luck Marjorie!!! We are so proud of you!!!

New For 2009-Trip Day!

In order to provide campers the opportunity to explore all that Skyline’s surrounding area has to offer, the first Thursday of each session this year will be Trip Day! Along with the popular Early Bird trip, a different trip for each age group will be offered and these trips are optional. Campers can choose to remain at camp and enjoy an atypical day filled with games and special activities!

Skyline Counselor in the Miss Florida Pageant!!!

Former camper and counselor Sara York is Miss Heart of Plant City!

We are all very excited and proud of our very own Sara York! Sara was a camper for many years and has served as a counselor for the past 3 years. Sara is a Freshman at the University of Central Florida.

As Miss Heart of Plant City Sara will compete in the Miss Florida pageant July 5-11. Last year Sara was crowned Miss Wiregrass Area and competed in the Miss Alabama Pageant.

Only 85 Days Until Camp!!!!

I can not believe that there are only 85 days until 1st Session begins! That means there are only 65 days until Counselors start coming in for trainings and orientation. I am so excited for summer and can not wait for it to get here!

We are all pumped that Elizabeth (or ET as everyone calls her) is going to be spending the summer with us on the Mountain! ET was a camper and counselor for many years and we are blessed to have her with us again this summer.

Ashley Clay - Hut Row Head Counselor



We are all very excited to have Ashley back as Hut Row Head again this year! She will be a Junior at the University of the South (Sewannee).

Amelia Haas - Hut Row Head Counselor



After taking a year off we are so fortunate to have Amelia back with us this summer! Amelia attends the University of Alabama where she will be a Junior this fall.



Anna Spears - Summerplace Head Counselor


We are thrilled to have "Lifeguard Anna" as she is so affectionately called by some of her campers, as Head of Summerplace! Anna will be a Junior at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Sarah Clark - Riverside Head Counselor



We are blessed to have Sarah Clark back as Head Counselor of Riverside again this summer! Sarah attends Wake Forrest University where she will be a Senior this fall!
