The counselors woke up bright and early, eager to meet their campers! This morning at camp, we kicked off the day with a classic Sunday breakfast: homemade donuts, fresh strawberries, and crispy bacon.

As cars began to arrive, counselors greeted the campers with excitement. Together, they decorated the cabin with photos from home, hung up fairy lights, and helped the girls make their beds, creating a warm and welcoming space for everyone.

The girls gathered in the gym, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. They were introduced to the entire camp staff and watched an engaging video that gave them a glimpse into the exciting adventures awaiting them at camp.

Afterward, the girls went on a guided tour around camp, familiarizing themselves with the locations of various activities. Next, the girls headed to activity sign-ups, where they had the opportunity to choose six activities from the twenty-eight offered here at camp!

For lunch today, the girls enjoyed crispy chicken tenders, creamy mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, and soft dinner rolls. To finish, they savored a warm serving of homemade blueberry cobbler!

The girls returned to their cabins to learn about emergency procedures and participate in fun games like ‘All My Skyline Sisters,’ helping them bond and feel more at home!

After a fun-filled cabin time, the girls headed to the Beli Deli, where they had the opportunity to choose a snack of their choice. It was a delightful moment for the campers to sit back, relax, and catch up with old friends while making new ones.

The girls gathered in the gym for their club meetings, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new members. First-time campers drew a bead to determine their lifelong club : red for Mounties, blue for Rangers, and green for Troopers. This tradition marks the beginning of their journey in a club that becomes a cherished part of their camp experience. Following the bead drawing, the girls met in their club meetings, where they elected their leaders, setting the stage for a summer of growth, leadership, bonding!

After their club meetings, the girls headed to the T-shirt Corral to pick up their club uniforms. Once they received their uniforms, the girls returned to their cabins to change into their new gear, to prepare for their cabin and club photos.

After their swim tests, the girls returned to their cabins to change for dinner. For tonight’s meal, we enjoyed delicious hamburgers topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, served with a side of chips. For dessert, we had tasty brookies!

After dinner, the girls enjoyed a fun-filled Cabin Fun Night, spending quality time getting to know their fellow cabin mates through games and activities! BevShack and Brookwood had a spa night where the girls had fun painting each other’s nails and doing each other’s makeup!

Driftwood cabin had a blast playing a game of Gaga Ball!

Bettlebum and Bar-H cabins had a blast during their shaving cream war, laughing and getting messy together in a fun-filled activity!

Joy Wood cabin had a blast with a lively dance party in the gym, followed by an energetic game of dodgeball!

Edmae and Dewey’s Den cabins enjoyed a lively game of beach volleyball!

Rosey Den had a creative session making custom trucker hats, allowing the girls to express their unique styles and personalities!
