The talent show was a huge success! The girls shared so many different talents on stage!

This morning, Bar‑H led a meaningful morning watch where the girls learned how God provides for us using the imagery of a shepherd caring for his sheep. Just as a shepherd leads sheep to green pastures and still waters to give them rest and nourishment, God guides us through difficult times and gives us peace!

This morning, the girls attended flag-raising and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast. They had warm biscuits, fresh cantaloupe, eggs, and sausage. Plus, there was a cereal buffet with a variety of options so everyone could pick their favorite.

Tennis

The girls played a game called “Jail.” Each girl took turns hitting a forehand or backhand over the net. If the ball landed in bounds, she was safe and went to the back of the line. But if she hit it into the net or out of bounds, she went to “jail” on the other side of the court!

Outdoor Adventure

The girls went fishing today! Yesterday, they crafted their own poles by picking sticks, tying on fishing line, and adding weights. This morning, they attached hooks, molded bits of bread as bait, and cast their lines into the river. Their efforts paid off: they had a huge success and even caught a bluegill!

Leadership Training

The girls dedicated today to preparing for their big evening campfire presentation! With help from the LT’s, they practiced each part writing notes, coming up with creative analogies, and planning how to explain how God shepherds us.

Home Science

The girls learned to sew today! They practiced sewing on buttons by hand using basic supplies needle, thread, scissors, and buttons. With help, they threaded their needles, stitched through the buttonholes several times

Canoeing

The girls set an exciting goal for themselves today: to paddle all the way to our neighboring Camp Laney and back! Working together, they took turns steering, paddling, and navigating the current. Their hard work and determination paid off when they made it to their final destination.

The Troopers had an exciting moment today. The girls found the hidden horseshoe at the T-shirt Corral!

This afternoon, the girls had a delicious lunch of spaghetti with garlic bread, okra, corn, and cheesecake for dessert.

Tonight, the girls enjoyed Philly cheesesteak sandwiches with chips and brookies.

The girls brought all-new talents to tonight’s show! The girls amazed us with rollerblading tricks, lively dance routines, and graceful gymnastics flips. One of the girls played the piano, another wowed the crowd with a taekwondo demonstration, and some even shared their beautiful voices as singers. First place went to Annie Hill, second to Mary Neal, and third to Willow Blades!
