The girls woke up excited for the Skyline–Laney dance!

This morning, the Hillbillies led the girls in a heartfelt devotion focused on the second half of Psalm 23:5: “He anoints my head with oil.” They reflected on how this verse reminds us of God’s deep care, protection, and the honor He places on each of us!

Meals

For breakfast the girls ate bacon, french toast, and peaches!

For lunch the girls ate roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and rice krispies.

For dinner the girls had a brand new menu item chicken minis! On the side the girls had fries and sugar cookies for dessert!

Tennis

The girls had a blast helping prepare for tonight’s dance! They put their creativity to work by writing messages and drawing colorful designs with chalk all over the tennis courts.

Tower

The girls raced up Buddies Run today, competing to see who could reach the top the fastest! While some were climbing, others stood nearby cheering them on and offering encouragement! For an added challenge, some girls even climbed blindfolded, relying completely on the guidance and support of their peers.

Bible Study

During devotion time, the girls explored powerful prayers from the Bible by reading passages like John 17:1–5, Psalm 51, Jonah 2, and more. After reading each prayer, they worked together to figure out who prayed it and what it meant. Through this activity, the girls learned that prayer is both talking and listening to God.

Volleyball

The girls split into three teams for a fun and fast-paced rotation game! Each round was played to eleven points, with the winning team staying on the court while the other team rotated off.

Canoeing

The girls went on an exciting trip today to the beautiful DeSoto Falls! They navigated the winding river trail to reach the falls, working together and enjoying the peaceful journey along the way. Once they arrived, they took in the breathtaking view of the cascading water and shared a delicious breakfast surrounded by nature.

Laney Dance

They reunited with their brothers and made new friends from Camp Laney, sharing laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories. The dance floor was alive with energy as everyone moved to hits like Church Clap, Forrest Frank favorites, and other popular songs. Of course, no Skyline dance would be complete without some camp classics Candy in the Sun, Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’, and Away Together had everyone singing along and dancing with joy!
