2026 Session Themes!
1ST SESSION: Get ready to take the stage! During the second week of first session, camp comes alive with our annual Music Festival. Throughout the session, cabins collaborate to create a lip-sync performance complete with choreography, costumes, and plenty of personality, all set to a song from this year’s theme: country music! Pack whatever your daughter feels comfortable wearing, think: “country concert”. Cabins perform in front of the entire camp while our admin team and head counselors judge live. With our talented campers, comical counselors, and the crowd going wild, it’s a night full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable performances.
2ND SESSION: Things get bright and competitive during Color Wars! Held on the second Tuesday of second session, campers suit up in white Camp Skyline t-shirts and dive into a full day of challenges, games, and team spirit. The mission? Protect your counselor from getting covered in colored powder! The counselor with the least color at the end claims victory. The rules loosen up after the competition. Campers get their chance to toss color, celebrate with friends, and snap vibrant photos on the riverside field. And for the grand finale: a refreshing jump into the river to wash it all away!
3RD SESSION: Celebrate Independence Day, camp style! The day kicks off with a festive camp-wide parade & campers dress in red, white, and blue. They watch as horses, nurses, admin, head counselors, and club captains make their way through camp in a spirited procession. The excitement continues with the Skyline Olympics, where age groups go head-to-head in friendly competition, followed by a swim meet that brings club competition to the pool. Then we all watch a firework show to end the day of patriotic fun.
4TH SESSION: Who says you have to wait until December? During Christmas in July, camp transforms into a summer holiday wonderland. Early in the week, cabins deck the halls with decorations and compete in a festive door-wrapping contest. Saturday brings “Christmas Eve,” filled with cozy, creative fun—writing letters, enjoying milk and cookies, making friendship bracelets, and more. On “Christmas morning,” campers head to the gym in their pajamas, where Santa makes a special appearance to read a Christmas story and hand out candy canes. It’s christmas magic without the snow!
THE DANCE: And of course, the fun wouldn’t be complete without the dance! Each session, we partner with our brother camp, Camp Laney, for a themed night to remember. This year’s theme: Night at the Rodeo! Think western vibes, line dancing, and nonstop fun. Held on the first Friday of every session, it’s a highlight for many campers. Our mini campers enjoy a cozy movie night instead—but not before showing off what they’ve learned in dance class to us girls! Our dance theme t-shirt will be sold in the tshirt coral again this year as well!
