What we're up to this Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time where families gather together, give thanks for many things, and eat yummy food. Here’s just a little bit of what the Skyline crew is thankful for and how we will be spending our Thanksgiving!

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? I will be spending time with my family and eating a lot more than I should 

What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? I’m a big fan Nick’s grandma’s cranberry sauce

What is something you’re thankful for during this season? My boys

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? Spending time with family

What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? Dressing and gravy Nan’s Coconut cake Ryan’s red velvet cake Squash casserole Apparently sugar and carbs!!!

What is something you’re thankful for during this season? My parents beating covid!! They are two tough cookies!!!

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? I will be going to my oldest sister’s house for my families Thanksgiving and then to my in-law’s on Thanksgiving day

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? This Thanksgiving I will be making the trek down to the glorious Sunshine State, where I will be enjoying Turkey Day with my family!

What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? Anything potato related! Also, lately I’ve had a real hankering for pickled baby corn which I’ve only ever had on a Thanksgiving about 15 years ago. So, if anyone knows a good recipe to pickle baby corns, please send it my way!

What is something you’re thankful for during this season? I’m thankful for the beauty of fall. I’m thankful for the chunky grey cat that lives with me. And, also, the fluffy golden retriever even though she’s stinky at times! And I’m extra thankful for a roommate that puts up with them. I’m thankful for the people that put up their Christmas decorations up early because, even though I complain about it, it does bring me a little joy and when driving at night it helps light the way. And I’m thankful for my family, friends, my health, and my job!

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? I’m going to the beach with my family! I’m so excited to get some sunshine, catch up on reading, and be able to spend time with people I love.

What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? Oh dang there are so many good things! I always love mash potatoes regardless if it’s Thanksgiving. Sweet potato casserole, and Thanksgiving Dressing. Growing up, my grandmother also would make pineapple and cheese casserole specifically for me every year.

What is something you’re thankful for during this season? I know that we are missing out on a lot of our normal shenanigans, but there are still so many things to be thankful for that the Lord has given us. These are just a few that I’m thinking about today. Technology to stay in touch with friends and family I can’t see as often. A job with people I really love. A warm house with a fireplace(Gene and I love building fires in the fall and winter!). The outdoors and the mostly good weather that we’ve been having.

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? I will be going to my grandmothers house and then going to Bretts moms house.

What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? Sweet potato casserole and dressing.

What is something you’re thankful for during this season? I’m thankful for quality time spent with my co workers, family and friends.
