I LOVE THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH! I’m not just saying that because I know, well I think, they read this. I really love them. I don’t know how many of you have the privilege of working in a Christian environment but I do and it is wonderful. These ladies and men are family.

Larry, well we are married and I have to claim him. I hope all of you know I am just kidding. Larry is amazing in so many ways, especially his IT skills. If it were not for him, we wouldn’t have the pictures, emails and news letter in the summer time. He’s been doing this long before it was the thing to do. He also fixes my computer, on a daily basis. According to him, I repel technology.

Ivy does so many behind the scenes things it would blow your mind. She sees something that needs to be done and she does it. She thinks about the program all the time and is constantly coming up with ideas to improve what we have and expand where we can. Did y’all know she was a nationally ranked cheerleader? I bet she can still do all the back hand springie flippie thingies too!

Laci is dry humored. If you haven’t gotten to know her it’s worth the laugh. She also works on the night program all the time. She is constantly coming up with new games and how to make a night activity better. I am not talking about games that are for small groups, these are groups of 250 girls plus. I am always shocked at the detail that goes into what she does.

Gene, is a girl even though the spelling of her name is masculine. She is named after her grandmother, yes I typed that correctly! Mr. and Mrs. Justice I love that y’all did that!! Gene has a heart for everything and I mean everything! She is currently working on a program to help us recycle all cardboard and what that will look like in the summer.

Saralee, our newest member of the admin team is vibrant! She is like a puppy, always happy and happy about everything. I love that she works on our summer theme during the day AND still carves out her own quiet time. She has started office prayer time. During this daily time, all of you are being prayed for as well as our staff.

Pickle, although not a full time staff member, is here all the time! When he is not here or being a part time principal (you’ll have to ask him about that one), he goes all over the south to watch campers play volleyball, basketball, softball, run cross country, track meets and I think you get the idea. Campers love him so much they invite him to their activities and if he can, he will go.

Adam is our builder and fixer of all things!! That is it! He can build anything and keeps camp running for the summer and groups that come in. He has just finished a new sink for arts and crafts and another one for pottery. They are amazing looking! He also makes all the wood projects for arts and crafts! Need I say more?

Rebekah is the one, if you call camp, you talk with. She is that sweet all the time, I kid you not!! Rebekah keeps all of us going and makes us all feel loved everyday! She loves the camp dogs too. She brings treats from home and gives it to them everyday not to mention makes them feel just as loved.

Gina loves a good spread sheet and budget. She’s our numbers lady. She has the fastest fingers in the south when it comes to a calculator. Thanks to her she keeps everyone from going over budget. A little tidbit about Gina, she has a doll room in her house!

Last but not least, Paige. Paige is comic relief. If it weren’t for her Larry would be running around like a chicken with his head cut off, and he would agree with that. She has made my life a lot easier because she has him organized!! Paige is also the admin social chair. She can organize one mean corn hole tournament!

It’s an honor and a privilege to serve with a God fearing, loving and kind group of men and women on a daily basis. I hope all of you are able to do the same. Have a wonderful week and hope you are blessed beyond all measure.
