New activity alert!! Pickleball!

You might have seen a sneak peek on our Instagram last week… We have added a new aspect to a long time favorite activity!! That’s right, we’re adding PICKLEBALL to Tennis!!!! I was head of Tennis in 2016 and 2017 and I wish we had pickleball back in my day. We have chalk-drawn lines on the tennis courts and all of the full time staff have become professional pickleball players in this beautiful weather!

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong. You play on a badminton-size court with a net that is shorter than your average tennis net. Pickleball is played with paddles like you use for a paddle ball game on the beach and with a plastic ball with holes in it, like a wiffle ball! There are a handful of quirky rules that you can find here!
