The Waterfront, arts building, lodge and bridge at the beginning of fall.

Hello Camp Family!

I hope everyones fall is going well. Our leaves are starting to turn up here and camp is looking beautiful! The paths are some of the prettiest areas on campus as well as the leaves sitting on the river. Of course the oak leaf hydrangeas look pretty good too.

If you haven’t seen an updated photo of the new office building take a look! The footings have been poured and the basement walls too. The forms should be coming off soon. Our next move is to pour the basement floor. Things are starting to move along and it’s real exciting to watch the progress.

We are so excited about this new space! The basement and the back deck I think will be my favorite areas. The basement will have a work space for our counselors and a room for our photography and videography staff to do their best work. I am in high hopes we will be able to use one of those rooms for our photography class as well.

The back deck is going to be a great place to hang out or even have an outside classroom for the summer. It wouldn’t surprise me if Frances decided to do the younger girls Bible Study class there.

Oh, I left out the front porch of the office! Closing day will definitely have a different look to it for summer 2024. We aren’t quite sure what that will be but there are lots of ideas swirling around in our heads.

I don’t know about y’all but fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love football, the leaves changing and everything is getting colder. Tell us what you love about fall and send us pictures of the leaves changing or you at a ballgame!
