The girls slept in a bit this morning, enjoying some extra rest before jumping into an action-packed day!
The girls enjoyed a tasty breakfast of powdered donuts, fresh strawberries, and crispy bacon.
The girls had crispy chicken tenders paired with our famous market sauce, green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, and warm rolls for lunch.
For dinner, the girls enjoyed a fun picnic-style meal, building their own chicken sandwiches and topping them with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. On the side, they had a crunchy bag of chips. For a sweet treat the girls had sugar cookies.
Today in Sunday School, our girls dove into the comforting words of Psalm 23, discovering how God lovingly cares for us like a shepherd caring for his sheep. The girls learned that, just as a shepherd guides sheep to green pastures and still waters, God provides rest, peace, and spiritual nourishment for our souls!
Today, our service was led by Chaplain Ella Walker, who delivered a memorable and insightful message. She began with a simple yet powerful demonstration: a camper dressed in a black shirt, then layered a white shirt over it, symbolizing how, when we confess our sins, God washes us clean and makes us righteous.
Ella emphasized that forgiveness and grace are free gifts! We don’t earn them or pay for them, just like receiving a birthday present from someone who loves us. She then reflected on Psalm 23, focusing on its message of confidence: even in the shadows, God is always with us. Using the analogy of the moon, sometimes hidden, but always present, she reassured the girls that, though we might not always feel God’s presence, He never leaves them!
We ended with a joyful note: Claire and Julia taught a new campfire song!
After rest hour, the girls headed straight to the carnival, where they were treated to cool snow cones and fresh popcorn! The girls had fourteen different activities to choose from, giving them plenty of options to find what they loved most!
Blow up obstacle course
Blow up water slide
Yard bowling
Ring Toss
Karoke
Pickleball
Bouldering wall
Face painting
Braclet Making
Giant Jenga
Gaga Ball

Tonight, the girls had a blast playing Counselor Hunt. A hide-and-seek style game where counselors from staff hid around camp while the girls searched high and low to find them!
When the dust settled, the Rangers claimed first place, followed by the Troopers, with the Mounties finishing strong in third.
