The girls woke up early, buzzing with excitement to play The Game of Life for the very first time!

Once the girls were ready for the day, they headed to morning watch, sang three songs, and then listened as their driftwood counselors led a short devotion about how God provides for us.

Next, the girls attended the flag-raising ceremony, with six of them proudly helping to hoist the flag. After reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, they headed off to breakfast, where they enjoyed French toast, grapes, and bacon.

After breakfast the girls headed to cabin cleanup! The girls each have capers each morning to help around the cabin! Once the girls were done with cabin clean up they headed to club meeting!

Painting

The girls kicked off their rock painting adventure by finding the perfect smooth stones. Once everyone had a rock in hand, they headed inside to decorate them with their own creative designs. After the paint dried, they placed their masterpieces around the Back Porch for all to enjoy.

Mountian Biking

The girls took their first off‑camp adventure. A three‑mile ride down to Camp Laney! On the way home, they made a fun pit stop in downtown Mentone at Little River Hardware, where the girls treated themselves to a lollipop before pedaling back!

Pickleball

They played Queen of the Court! The winning pair stays on the court after each point, and new challengers rotate in until someone else wins and takes over as the “queen.”

Cooking

For cooking, the girls made ham-and-cheese sliders! First they preheated the oven, then whipped up a flavorful sauce with butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and chia seeds. After slicing the bread and layering in ham and cheese, they poured the sauce over the sliders and baked them until melty and golden.

Ropes

The girls tackled the V‑Swing circuit and explored the “woods,” displaying teamwork and determination as they climbed the dangling duo. They also conquered the Pamper Pole, climbing high and jumping to grab the trapeze. To reach the V‑Swing, they navigated a beam bridge and logs, then took the thrilling swing ride!

CSR

The girls headed to the climbing tower and bouldering wall, where they practiced hand-offs and changeovers before climbing up and rappelling down the tower!

For lunch, the girls enjoyed creamy chicken Alfredo served with broccoli and fresh rolls. For dessert stawberry shortcake!

The girls enjoyed classic BLTs served with crispy fries on the side, and finished the meal with tasty sugar cookies for dessert!

Game of Life

The girls had a blast playing Game of Life, the new night time activity. Each girl started with four lives and raced toward the circus field, where the game ended. The real fun came from the counselors, armed with socks, hiding in the shadows. If a counselor hit you with a sock, you lost a life and had to go back to the start before trying again. With extra lives and playful counselor “attacks,” the game sparked laughter, cheers, and fast-paced excitement all the way to the finish line. The rangers took first, troopers followed right behind, and mounties took third!

Waldo made some duplicates, so some pictures may show up twice. Enjoy the exrta pictures if you missed them the first time!
