Grandcampers

If your mom or Grandmom was a Skyline cutie, then you are considered a Grandcamper. This summer we had almost 200 Grandcampers. It’s really special to see the girls get excited to be a Mountie, Ranger or Trooper like their family members. The traditions of songs and activities are passed down from generation to generation. In fact, my mom was a Mountie back in the 1950’s so my sisters and I were Mounties in the 70’s/80’s as were my children in the early 2000’s.

We love singing together club and campfire songs that have stayed through the test of time like, Smile, Don’t You Know God Loves You. Next summer I will be reteaching a few of these songs to camp so that during the year of the 80th we can all sing it together. Get ready campers!
