Believe it or not, the school year has officially begun! Whether this year you’re doing school online, in person, or even a mixture of both we have a few ways that you can spread the camp vibes into your school year.

Morning Watch
We start every day at camp with Morning Watch, a small devotion that is counselor led. You can have your own Morning Watch at home! We suggest choosing a book of the Bible to go through and doing a SOAPS every morning . Don’t forget to share your SOAPS with your family and friends just like we do during camp!

Have your own Spirit Day!
We dedicate one day a session to repping our club colors and showing our spirit. Just like at camp you can have a day where you rep your club colors. If you’re a Trooper don your green, a Mountie put on that red, and a Ranger throw on some blue!

Make a Friendship Bracelet.
Friendship bracelets are a camp classic! You can find these bracelets on almost all campers’ and counselors’ wrists during camp. So why not do this at home, too? Grab some string and make a bracelet for a friend. Better yet you can also teach your friend how to make friendship bracelets, too! Check out some fun patterns here.

Write Some Snail Mail to a camp friend!
Who doesn’t love a handwritten note? Even if you keep in touch with your friends through more modern means, a letter just brings a different kind of joy. So, break out the camp stationary and write one of your Skyline sisters!

Have a campfire!
We end every night of camp around the campfire where we sing songs, have a devotion, and sometimes eat/devour a few s’mores! If you don’t have a way to make a campfire you can make your own s’mores in the oven or microwave and maybe gather outside under the stars to eat them!

We hope your school year is off to a good start and we miss you all!
