The girls have truly had an amazing time throughout this session. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they were so eager and excited to attend their final day of activities.

We had a wonderful time at Morning Watch today. Lilly and Ava led a heartfelt morning devotion at the Foot of the Cross, sharing an inspiring message for all the campers. The theme for the day was “He Provides,” reminding us of the faithfulness and care that surrounds us every day.

After flag raising the campers were dismissed to enjoy breakfast. This morning, the girls savored a delicious meal of biscuits, eggs, bacon, and cantaloupe to start their day off right.

In archery, the girls competed to earn club points. Each club was placed on a target, and if a girl hit her own club’s target, her club earned 5 points. However, if she hit another club’s target, that club gained 1 point instead.

In painting, the girls had a blast for their last day of activities. Instead of using paper, they got to paint their counselor, creating a one-of a kind hand painted shirt that she’ll treasure forever.

While climbing the tower, the girls faced a small obstacle that tested their skills. From the top, water balloons were tossed down, both cooling them off and adding an extra fun challenge to their climb.

In arts and crafts, the girls unleashed their creativity by using jar lids to make unique artworks. They crafted a variety of imaginative pieces, including colorful jellyfish.

In sports class, the girls jumped into some soapy fun playing slip-n-slide kickball! They ran and slid their way to the bases and all the way home to score points for their teams. It was a splashy, exciting twist on a classic game!

For lunch, the girls enjoyed grilled chicken, green beans, fried squash, and rolls. A tasty and satisfying meal. And to top it all off, they had some delicious apple cobbler for dessert. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the rest of their fun day!

In riflery today, the girls shot water balloons as their targets. They also played a fun game where everyone tried to keep their balloon from popping. The last one with theirs still intact won!

This afternoon in Home Science, the girls had a fun tea party. They put to good use the table etiquette they learned the day before. The girls had a nice assortment of scones, blueberry muffins, sugar cookies, fresh oranges, and strawberries. On the Hut Row and Lodge side of the river, Driftwood took home the win for cabin clean-up. Over on the other side of the river, Riverside Room Four was the big winner!

For dinner, the girls enjoyed BBQ sandwiches with crispy crinkle-cut fries and baked beans. To top it all off, the girls enjoyed delicious snickerdoodle cookies for dessert.

The girls worked really hard in all their activities to get ready for showtime. Cheer and gymnastics wowed everyone with impressive flips and tricks. Dance was thoughtfully choreographed, and Bible Study surprised us with a heartwarming dance. Musical Theater put on a fantastic show with lovely singing that everyone enjoyed.
