A season for gratitude, joy, and a little extra camp magic!
As the leaves begin to change, the air gets a little cooler, and the holiday season draws near, it’s hard not to feel a little extra excitement this time of year! With Thanksgiving right around the corner and Christmas not far behind, this season gives us the perfect opportunity to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the many blessings in our lives.
At Camp Skyline, we have so much to be thankful for. From the friendships formed around the campfire to the laughter shared during activities and the memories made throughout the summer, we are continually reminded of how special our camp community truly is. While our favorite summer days may be behind us for now, the friendships, traditions, and memories made at Skyline stay with us all year long.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder to pause and give thanks for the people who make our lives so special. We are especially grateful for our campers, counselors, alumnae, and families who make up the Camp Skyline family. Each of you brings something unique to our community, and we feel so blessed to be part of a place where friendships grow, confidence is built, and God’s love can be shared in so many ways.
And as Thanksgiving celebrations turn into twinkling Christmas lights, festive music, and holiday traditions, we are reminded of the joy and hope that this season brings. Christmas is a special time to celebrate the greatest gift of all, the birth of Jesus. It is a season filled with love, generosity, kindness, and opportunities to share that joy with those around us.
Even though we may be counting down the days until summer, we hope you find little reminders of Skyline magic throughout the holiday season. Maybe it’s reconnecting with a camp friend, sharing a little extra kindness, or simply remembering a favorite summer moment that still makes you smile.
